Neuromas Treatment

The symptoms patients often complain of is pain, burning, or numbness in the forefoot between the third and fourth toes. Doveston Health specialises in treating neuromas and getting patients out of pain and improving foot function.

First, we assess your feet to accurately diagnose the condition. Our treatment options include padding and taping the area to take pressure off the nerve, shin splints supports or orthotics to correct any biomechanical foot problems. Anti-inflammatories may be prescribed to reduce swelling.

If there is no response to the treatment we will try steroid injections, if that doesn’t work then a surgical procedure would be done to get rid of the pressure on the nerve. Our goal is to relieve your pain and make your feet function correctly again with the least amount of procedures done.

The Doveston Health team is passionate about providing each of our neuroma patients with custom, tailored treatment. We are consistently working to provide you with the most up-to-date treatment options available in an effort to achieve the best possible outcome.
