Nutrition expertise meets real-world practice.

Preparing nutritious meals is an essential life skill. This program combines evidence-based nutrition advice with practical cooking experiences so participants can build knowledge, confidence and independence they can use at home.

Every session is tailored to the participant—not a one-size-fits-all recipe.

  • Aligned with NDIS goals and current functional abilities
  • Adapted for dietary requirements and medical conditions
  • Built around personal preferences and level of independence
The goal is not simply to teach someone how to cook. It is to build the confidence and skills to prepare healthy meals for life.

Your questions, answered.

Still unsure whether the program suits your goals or NDIS plan? The Doveston Health team is happy to help.

Ask our team
Do I need an initial assessment?

Where are the cooking sessions held?
Sessions are delivered in the purpose-built kitchen facilities at Doveston Health in Morayfield.
How long are the sessions?
Session duration is determined during the initial assessment based on the participant's goals, abilities and individual needs.
