01. Why Did I Become a Podiatrist?
I’ve always enjoyed work that allows me to help people in a practical, meaningful way. I love getting to know my patients and providing care that fits into their everyday lives. Making a positive difference, no matter how small, is what I find most rewarding.
02. Passion/Passions
I’m passionate about providing careful, thorough treatment for those with high-risk feet, such as diabetes and vascular compromise. I love supporting patients in maintaining healthy feet and long-term mobility through safe, evidence-based care.
03. Favourite Things to Treat or Special Interests
I have a strong interest in ingrown toenail treatments, including surgery to remove the offending nail spicule.
04. Favourite Food
Anything with dark chocolate, especially if it’s mint and dark chocolate. I also love my Nan's lasagna, but as she is 101 years old now, she hasn't been able to cook it for a while. I haven't had the guts to try and cook it myself as it used to take her 2 days to make!
05. Favourite Exercise
My favourite way to stay active is a mix of gym training and swimming, whether that’s at the beach or in the pool with my kids. I love how both keep me strong, energised, and balanced, and spending that time being active with my family makes it even more rewarding.
06. Pets if Any
I have an 8-year-old catahoula x staffy dog named Maple. She’s a chilled, aging girl who loves her food, sleep, and sunbathing. She’s very stubborn, especially when it’s time for her to get off our bed and go to sleep in her bed. My favourite thing about her is she has 2 different coloured eyes—one white and one brown with a tiny fleck of white in it.
